Comptoir des cotonniers
Comptoir des Cotonniers is a top-of-the-range women's ready-to-wear brand
About Comptoir des Cotonniers
Tony Elicha founded Créations Nelson in 1972 in Toulouse by starting a licenced women's ready-to-wear distribution business under the Jean-Paul Gaultier brand. In 1998, the company launched its own brand, Comptoir des Cotonniers, which targeted women aged 20 to 45. The brand, which has gained a great deal of notoriety thanks to the "mother-daughter" marketing concept, has enjoyed very strong growth.
Pechel became a shareholder in 2003. Today, the chain belongs to the Japanese group Fast Retailing.
